"VIJA'" AT THE CASTLE - Castello di Niella Tanaro

Once upon a time.. A phrase that embodies a magic capable of evoking a remote and apparently lost world. Fairy tales and legends draw on a common ancestral culture, handed down orally from generation to generation and come down to us on the wings of fantasy. The “vijà” that were held in the stables of our farms until not long ago are a direct offshoot of the Celtic-Ligurian traditions and their sense of the fantastic. A red threat that unites past and present, the ancient bards and our storytellers-peasants. This is the spirit we would like to recreate, keeping our feet firmly on the ground but with the soul ready to dream again.
