Landandè Trail

This trail is walkable by foot, mountain bike, horseback and snowshoes in all seasons of the year. Throughout the loop you can make various stops to try local products, engage in cultural experiences, and enjoy the scenery in the towns of Briaglia, Vicoforte, Niella Tanaro and San Michele Mondovi. It winds on a 22 km route with a travel time of about 6 hours and a difference in height of 698 meters. It is an opportunity to organize a unique vacation between nature, food and wine, and culture with its Chapels, the Basilica Sanctuary Regina Montis Regalis of Vicoforte, the Napoleonic Path, the Dolmen and Menhir of Briaglia, and the church of S. Teobaldo in Niella Tanaro. The beauty and the people of this territory are unique.

Skiing

Mondolé Ski is a ski area that includes the following ski stations: Prato Nevoso, Artesina, and Frabosa Soprana. They provide 130 km of ski slopes and 34 ski lifts in all. Beyond alpine skiing slopes there is one snow park and three areas reserved for children with with fun activities like inflatable structures and ski schools. All ski stations are accessible with one ski pass.

Cave of Bossea

The cave of Bossea has the privilege of being the first Italian tourist cave. It was made open to the public in 1874. In 1948 the first electrical lighting system was installed relaunching the scientific studies, cultural interest, and tourism of this karst environment.
